The heart behind BVG SLP
About BVG SLP
Speech, language, and literacy support rooted in experience, creativity, and connection.

Hello, I’m Belinda
I’m Belinda V. Givens, M.A., CCC-SLP, the founder of BVG SLP and an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with almost 20 years of experience helping children communicate, learn, and grow.
My career has taken me through a variety of clinical and educational settings, but much of my work has centered on supporting school-age children and families. Along the way, I developed a particular passion for the connection between communication and literacy—an interest that led me to earn a Reading Endorsement and continues to shape both my therapy approach and the educational resources I create.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University and my Master of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. I currently hold professional licenses in Florida, California, Washington, and Ohio and have extensive experience providing services through telepractice.
From Teletherapy Need to BVG SLP
BVG SLP began in 2016 when I entered teletherapy and quickly discovered how difficult it was to find engaging digital materials designed specifically for speech and language intervention. I began creating the resources I needed for my own students, and what started as a practical solution grew into an extensive collection of speech, language, literacy, and learning materials used by SLPs, educators, and families.
BVG SLP operates under Infinity Rehabilitation, LLC, the rehabilitation company my husband and I founded together. Over the years, our professional paths have evolved, while the company has remained the foundation for BVG SLP and its continued growth. Today, I’m bringing that foundation full circle by expanding BVG SLP beyond educational resources and once again growing the direct-service side of the business for children and families.
Over the years, my work has also created opportunities to contribute to professional conversations about telepractice, serve on ASHA’s Telepractice Convention Committee, present innovative therapy tools at the ASHA Convention, write about school-based telepractice and digital learning, and share my experiences through professional publications, interviews, and podcasts.
Today, BVG SLP brings those pieces together.
I continue to create practical, engaging educational resources while providing speech-language services directly to children and families. Whether I’m working with a student, developing a new resource, or sharing tools with another professional, my approach remains grounded in the same belief that started BVG SLP: learning should be meaningful, engaging, and accessible—and children can have fun while they learn.
Beyond BVG SLP
Outside of work, I’m a wife and mom to three boys, and family remains at the center of everything I do. We call Central Florida home and especially enjoy spending time together and exploring new places.
After nearly a decade of BVG SLP, I’m grateful for how much this little idea has grown—and excited about what comes next as we continue helping children and families communicate, learn, and grow.
