Kamala Harris BOOM Cards Comprehension Unit by BVG SLP

Build reading comprehension and language skills with this Kamala Harris Comprehension Boom Cards unit. Students read three short passages about Kamala Harris’s journey and answer follow-up comprehension questions. A separate open-ended critical-thinking section invites them to apply what they have learned.

The 45 full-color cards provide practice with answering questions, context clues, text evidence, vocabulary, and comprehension strategies. The subject can support instruction throughout the year and can also be incorporated into Black History Month, Women’s History Month, and language and literacy lessons.
