Practice vocabulary, inferencing, and descriptive language with this Community Helpers Hide and Reveal PowerPoint. Students click squares to uncover a hidden community helper, then try to identify the person with as few clicks as possible using full-color photographs.

Each community helper has a separate slide for the guessing activity, a graphic organizer for describing, and a “Did You Know” facts page. Comparison and contrast diagrams add another way to talk about the helpers and what they do.
