Using Google Drive Resources!
This week’s teletherapy tip will focus on using Google Drive resources in your sessions. It also explains how Google can help make your remote learning more interactive and engaging. I have been incorporating Google Drive resources into my teletherapy sessions for years. There are several posts on my blog to help you better understand how functional Google tools can be. Due to a recent update to one of my most popular Articulation resources, I wanted to give you a fresh look at how fun and easy it is to use Google Drive options via teletherapy.
Please keep in mind that digital resources are great for your face to face sessions too! If you love teletherapy as much as I do, you may feel like this is a new and refreshing setting for you to spread your wings. Either way, becoming more familiar with your options will certainly help you feel more comfortable planning your sessions.
If you own any of my Static PDFs, you have probably noticed that in recent months they have been receiving mini-makeovers. My Articulation MEGA Bundle, which was one of my earliest and most popular resources, began as a Static PDF and has since been updated to include a Google Drive edition. It also now includes a digital spinner to make the game boards more interactive. It is FULL of sound practice in every position of words.
What Are They Saying?
Here’s what a few satisfied customers had to say about this resource:
This is a bundle chock-full of fun and engaging activities. I have used this regularly with a variety of ages and disabilities. My students really enjoy them. ~Heidi J.
Thank you!!! Love the interactive game component for the Google Slides. Really helps my students get involved with their distance learning. ~Katie H.
My child loved this. I was testing it out on him before my distance learning sessions. He said it was one of the best yet. ~Holly

How Does it Work?
With the Google Drive edition, there are built-in game pawns to make it easier to “play” with your students. There are so many opportunities to make articulation drills more engaging and students tend to do better when they are having FUN WHILE LEARNING! I have heard from several of you that your school districts are only using Google and I hope to help make the transition to teletherapy and remote learning easier. I currently offer a number of different resources for Google Drive and plan to continue to update several existing Static PDFs to include additional format options.
The Articulation MEGA Bundle is very comprehensive and still includes the PDF edition for your convenience. I personally like to have multiple options in my toolbox and know that one size does not fit all. As you build rapport with your students and become more familiar with the various digital resource options, you will decide what works best for YOU and YOUR students. I hope you found this information helpful.
