There are a wide variety of ANIMATED pictures in the Animated Articulation Boom Cards deck for multiple opportunities for students to demonstrate their ability to clearly articulate S and S BLENDS. Have your students practice at both the word and sentence level with this unit.
NOTE – This lesson also includes Four in a Row game boards for each sound. You will be able to decide if you want your students to play Four in a Row with the animations on or off. There is also a game board with the words typed out for increased complexity while practicing target sounds.
What are Boom Cards?
PLEASE NOTE THAT BOOM CARDS ARE MINI APPS THAT REQUIRE AN INTERNET CONNECTION AND A MEMBERSHIP TO BOOM LEARNING IN ORDER TO PLAY. MEMBERSHIP LEVELS VARY, HOWEVER A FREE STARTER MEMBERSHIP ALLOWS FOR UNLIMITED FAST PLAY.

Where can Boom Cards be played?
This unit displays nicely on interactive whiteboards and Smartboards for whole group instruction. Use tablets/iPads for small group or 1:1 individual learning, and speech teletherapy telepractice platforms for interactive remote sessions. It is full color and intended for digital use. It is great for whole group, small group, literacy centers, and teletherapy sessions.
Boom Cards play on modern browsers (released in the last three years) on interactive whiteboards, computers and tablets. Boom Cards apps are also available. Not sure if your browser is modern enough?

Try a free Boom Cards deck first. When you redeem your purchase, Boom Learning opens an account for you if you do not already have one. If you do not subscribe at the end of your trial, you will be able to continue using Boom Cards with the Fast Play feature. Fast Play does not track individual progress.
