This unit is a great way to address listening/auditory comprehension, reading comprehension, answering wh questions, vocabulary, story elements, use of context clues, text evidence, and MORE!
This unit works well for intermediate students and allows them to make connections between language sessions and their math curriculum. If you like this unit you may also enjoy some of my other language and literacy lessons for intermediate, middle, and high school students.
Where to Use?
In addition, this unit follows the progression of the story. Display it nicely on a Smartboard, speech teletherapy platform, or tablet as the story is being read to your students. It can be adapted for whole group or small group language and literacy instruction. It is full color and intended for digital use. However, print it for a fun interactive activity.
