How to play?
YOU WILL NEED POWERPOINT TO PLAY THE GAME. Students will click on the squares to reveal the pictures hiding underneath. The object of the game is to guess the hidden picture in as few clicks as possible. The images of the various themed items are full-color high definition real pictures.
There’s a separate comprehensive unit for each theme. Have students practice vocabulary and inferencing as they guess the pictures. Students will practice describing as they complete the included graphic organizers. In addition, students will practice comparing and contrasting using the diagrams provided. This structured, comprehensive approach encourages reinforcement of important skills. As a result, repetition between slides allows for consistency. There is an abundance of language embedded. So you can introduce new vocabulary, following simple directions, auditory comprehension, and expressive language.
