How to play?
YOU WILL NEED POWERPOINT TO PLAY THE GAME. Students will click on the squares to slowly reveal the picture of a farm animal hiding underneath. The object of the game is to guess the farm animal in as few clicks as possible. The images of the farm animals are full-color high definition real pictures.
There’s a separate slide for each animal presented. Have students practice describing as they complete the included graphic organizer. Each farm animal also has a separate page with “Did You Know” facts. In addition, students will practice comparing and contrasting using the diagrams provided. This structured, comprehensive approach encourages reinforcement of important skills. As a result, repetition between slides allows for consistency. There is an abundance of language embedded. So you can introduce new vocabulary, following simple directions, auditory comprehension, and expressive language.
