This is a fun and engaging unit to practice Articulation of /dz/ (j sound) and /th/ in all positions of words. Have FUN as you drill and practice J and TH in the initial, medial, and final position.

There are a number of ways that you can incorporate this lesson into your sessions. It displays nicely on interactive Smartboards, on tablets, speech teletherapy, telepractice platforms. In addition, the game boards could be printed and laminated for tabletop gameplay. This unit includes:

Games are engaging and students love it when they can work on their speech sounds while playing “games.”
If displaying on a Smartboard, allow students to approach the board and drag and drop the game pieces. Have them monitor each other’s speech pronunciation of target sounds.
When using a speech teletherapy platform use the built-in game pieces or stamp feature on the whiteboard as game pieces. If printing and laminating have fun with all sorts of options (candy is always very motivating).
** This unit includes a total of 35 slides to address both /dz/ and /th/ in all positions of words (initial, medial, and final). There are over 125 fun colorful pictures to practice /dz/ and /th/. This unit is great for not only practicing articulation but works well for vocabulary review, picture naming, phonemic awareness, and literacy!
** There are also 4 different game boards, 2 are blank (so you can decide how you would like to incorporate the sounds into play) and 2 boards have the pictures embedded.
** That’s not all, the unit also includes 4 different BINGO cards (2 for each sound) PLUS 2 Connect the Dots game boards with pictures embedded AND 2 Four in a Row game boards!!
